Home is Evolving

What does home mean to you?

This is the first question I asked Emily when we met up in a park on a cold January morning, and asked again later when we conducted our official interview over video-chat.

​

Home can be... complicated. Multi-faceted. It can be comfort, community, people, and things. It can be independence.

As Emily walks us through the various places and communities she has called home over the course of her life thus far, it becomes increasingly clear that the only constant is that home is continuously shape-shifting, adapting, and evolving.
