introducing me:

Everything you need to know about me you can learn from these two childhood stories:

1. In elementary school, my friends genuinely referred to me as "The Walking Dictionary" and my dream was to win a spelling bee content.

2. I entered a local radio drawing competition every single year until I became ineligible and won too many McDonalds gift cards to count.

What I'm getting at is that I'm passionate about all things copy and design, and always have been. I'm currently working on the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister's social media channels and recently obtained my Master's Degree in Communications.

Enjoy your stay!

Communicating regularly with PMO, DPMO, and MinO, I ensure the creation, implementation, and amplification of high-quality content delivering announcements, statements and readouts to Canadians with a cumulative audience of over 900k. I also occasionally contribute as a guest writer for the Prime Minister's statements, most recently on Gender Equality Week.

Educational Background

What I’ve Learned

2017 - 2021

Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies

As a student in the CoMs program, I have developed a wide array of both technical and critical thinking skills. By taking courses in quantitative and qualitative research, visual media, advertising fundamentals, popular digital culture and various media production workshops, I will graduate with an in-depth understanding of the past, present and future of media.

2021-2023

Master of Arts: Communications

I spent one year completing coursework on visual media, theoretical foundations, and research methods. I spent an additional year working on my Master's thesis, titled "'TikTok Made Me Gay': Digital Networks and Information Activism on Queer(ed) Platforms". It was the most intense and rewarding project of my life, and I'm so utterly proud of it.
